genuine question.. not here to wum

but do you guys think Klopp is still the right man for the job?

As a manager the players seem to love him and he does have this aura about him, but he does have a worse record than Brendan had before him and Moyes had at Utd.

The team plays exciting football going forward but also tend to look pretty weak at the back, something that hasn't really been addressed since he arrived at the club.

He also has a habit of chopping and changing the team around on a regular basis which doesn't seem to help.

do you guys still think he could be the man to take you forward or are some of you thinking that this could be the limit.

lets be honest, historically Liverpool are still a huge club despite their lack of success over the last decade or so.

look forward to your response.

As an outsider, he looks like the perfect fit for LFC.
With the passion he brings and intensity in his game.
You'd be mad to want to get rid, he has his faults but he doesn't have the £££'s that the Mancs have so you cant really expect him to work as fast as them to turn your club around.
------------
Liverpool were in a position to turn away 130mill for a player and also bid 70mill+ for another so that excuse(not being used by their fans I might add) doesn't wash anymore

Absolutely yes.

Football is supposed to be entertaining. We may not win stuff , but we are entertaining to watch. Honestly wouldn't swap Klopp for anyone at the moment.

What? This is so wrong I don't know where to begin.

As for the rest, if when Klopp came in you had said to me that at the end of his first full season we'd be back in the CL, I'd have taken it. So as it stands, for me, the season has started averagely but 5 league games doesn't negate what we did last season. If come the end of the season we finish 6th-7th the questions will rightly be asked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
no its not.

klopp has already used 22 different players this season.

compare this to the other teams expecting to challenge you get

utd - 17
city - 18
Chelsea - 19
arsenal - 19
spurs - 19

in the last 5 games alone at the back he has used

Robertson
Arnold
Moreno
gomez
klavan
matip
lovren
Flanagan

and in goal he has used 3 different keepers.

how you can say he doesn't is beyond belief.

the weakest area for you guys is at the back, and chopping and changing like this will not help, there is no continuity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm assuming the number of changes stats includes our game last night? If so then other teams will be similar after tonight as they make changes for the cup.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its more the continuity at the back I was referring to as that's your weakest area.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough. I agree that we are making too many defensive changes. Matip and Lovren were relatively solid last season when they played together. But Lovren's shaky start, even alongside Matip, is a concern.

matip is a very good player, shocked no one other than yourselves were in for him considering he was a free.

Agreed. The thing that is most frustrating is the refusal to buy anyone else that wasn't VvD. He has said that there was nobody else available/ that fitted but that is BS.
-----------------
I think a lot of fans found it incredible that the manger thought there were no other viable defenders from what you had up2 the level the vvd was, I even said if you did get him and another solid midfielder you would have had a real shot at the title this year but like last year your defence will more than likely cost you again

For starters I would play Robertson at left back every league game, he has got to be first choice. Matip will always start if he is fit, and when Clyne is fit again I'm sure he will be starting the majority of our league games. It looks like Mignolet will be starting most of our league games with Karius used for the CL. So the continuity will come, but the most uncertain position is who plays alongside Matip.

I think they probably would have been but we probably got in his agents ear pretty early on.

yeah I remember he was wrapped up pretty quickly
