Match yesterday was very significant, more so than just the result.
Big test for TC after Milwall defeat, but he strikes me as very calm and I'm glad for him we got a good result.
Right thing to do to rotate some players, so well done for doing that and giving fringe players more game time.
And also significant that the new Leeds squad won against some of the players who decided their futures lay elsewhere. No disrespect to Wood and Taylor, but it's a big morale boost for the management at Leeds and the belief our players have in that management.
Our squad should be believing that they have a good chance this year, hope that AR can find the right way of backing TC should he need it in Jan and with Grot and Cibiki still to realise potential I hope we see a quick return to points return we've gotten in league games so far.
Finally, yesterday keeps us in public's consciousness, they know something is happening here, they know there is a team to fear.
Well done Leeds.
More than a result

Agree completely Jonty.
And for me, Klich is the player I was hoping would show something sooner rather than later. He seemed a really
good signing. Got injured and didn't figure in things.
Last night was a really good game from him. He looked
class. I'm sure others have said, I'd like to see him start
next game.

Who one stars these articles FFS? We're talking
football again, mainly, and it's great on here. Mental.

Maybe in some games especially away starting 3 of Pablo, Saiz, Alioski, Dallas, and Roofe might be a bit indulgent and better to start with 3 of OKane, Phillips, Klich, Viera with only 2 playing off Lasogga to ensure we don't get overrun in the middle. I'm sure big Mick and Colin will try turn games ugly and not go toe to toe.

good article jonty.
i think tc will take some time to decide who to play in mid field against certain teams. we have seen two different teams for leeds in two games. loving the depth.

One Star ? - clearly someone wanting to get personal - what's the point ?
Anyway back to the footy . One thing that struck me about the Burnley win was how the penalty takers kept calm and delivered. All adds to a set up and team that just maybe is starting to look classy.

Good things a'coming. I can feel it in my old bones
... unless that's just the 6% Hen's Tooth kicking in
As soon as Pablo came on last night, we looked more like the classy Prem side and Burnley looked more like a (good, well organised ) Championship team.

Very similar to beating Norwich in the cup round this time last year. Only this time, we have a midfield...or two. As AZA says, who would you choose for Saturday? Vieira, Klich, O'Kane, Samu, Pablo, Phillips, Dallas, Anita...
Come to think of it, who do you choose for your back four?
Crucial game, but we have the players to win this one. My heart says Ipswich are going for a Burton...
