Leicester away

Can't stand Leicester but we have a chance

I think this is a great draw for us. Think about how well Leicester have done - and they have done really really well - winning the PL means Champions League football ffs!

But what about the Leicester story - little club with a sort of biggish history comes back to the big time in style. They have now established a global following and no doubt their revenues have been reinforced over the long term. A whole generation of kids around the world followed Leicester's fantastically romantic triumph in the PL. People everywhere love a good story.

Now, we are looking to follow the same trajectory, except that we are bigger than Leicester to start off with, and with a more attractive and dynamic history. Our own story can therefore only be boosted by meeting Leicester, whether we win or lose. It's a great tie - bring it on!

Why are you Leeds fans comparing us in terms of club size, what's this got to do with the present and the upcoming game?

We will be favourites as currently, we are the better team. regardless of history.

True. But still you stained football.

Yeah winning the Premier League as a 5000/1 shot. Proper stain on football that.

Your Honour: 'Staining football'? I don't know what that's all about - but my post responded to the question as to whether this is a good tie for LUFC. I drew comparisons with Leicester because the stories are similar, even if LUFC's story is more, shall we say, 'prominent' in the public's general understanding of the history of English league football. I certainly don't decry or devalue Leicester's superb triumph - quite the opposite. I hope that at last now we might emulate your success.

And so it'll be good to meet and beat you in any competition on the way...

I gave you that, but what happened after has turned you into the biggest villains in the game.

Good work

Mike and Harj, I must have missed something (more than likely) - what happened after?

I believe they are referring to the sacking of Ranieri.

Sacking Ranieri was one of the most despicable acts ever commited in football. Nothing against the fans though
