In that time you've dropped points in many games despite the player staying the situation has had a considerable negative influence on your results.

So what about all the points we dropped last season when he played? You're talking shiite. Our issues this season have been down to individual defensive errors. Nothing to do with cout or any negativity.

They don't cover it up particularly well then as the issues are well documented in the media. Even you've managed to spot it so we're not talking about a special cover up job.

This team is what it is. Electric going forward and, at times, utterly inept in defence.

We'll see where it lands up at the end of the season. One thing is for sure, despite this shambolic defence and the apparent negative impact of the Coutinho situation we're level with Spurs and 2 points behind Chelsea. I'd say that's a reasonable start.
