You could have only 7 available and still beat APOEL Ayia Napa

Have you never heard of injuries?😳

As we have all been saying for months.. Its a squad game & ours isn't big enough. Lamela & Rose are long term injuries and neither were expected to be fit. We knew Dele was gonna miss the 1st 3 champs league games & Dembele's long term complaints are well flagged. Having Jan supended, Eriksen sick & Victor injured is really something we should be able to cope with. We have no excuses. Not having a plan B to Barkley was typical crappy planning from Spurs. Winks is great, but in addition to lacking experience, he is coming back from injury and nobody knows what we are getting from Rose & Lamela when they do eventually resurface. Its a shame we couldn't have applied to same logic to strength/depth/rotation in our attacking positions like we did with the defense

Of all games to have players missing I think this is the best one for us to handle.

Key for me is tactics. Poch should appreciate we are under strength and apply well organised set up to start with. Earn the right to play.

Hope we don't just assume we can play them off the park with the same tactics from previous games. Need to show some respect especially away from home.

Wanyama - Dier, no problem
rose - Davies, no problem
Dembele - Winks, no problem
Lamela - Sissoko?! N'Koudo? Hmm.
Eriksen - PROBLEM
Verts - Foyth, no problem

What happens if the game isn't going on our way? Do we send Poch on?

Well they did ask me and Poch was insisting on me playing first half and put the team couple if goals up
But I turned it down

No point in signing a midfielder if we are then going to sign Barkley in January. If he goes else where then we need a Plan B
