The blades visiting the Forest throws up all sorts of cheap jokes that I'll leave to the indulgence of others.
The Championship is always unpredictable and Forest in particular have shown the ability to beat teams that they're expected to lose against. Also to fail miserably against those others, where we are a 'certainty' to triumph.
Sheffield United have only lost twice so far this season; to Middlesborough on the 12th August losing by a Ruddy Gestede goal in the 20th minute and against Norwich [at home] on 16th September, Yanic Wildschut put the Canaries ahead midway through the first half.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder was sent to the stands as the Blades' three-game winning run came to an end at home to Norwich.
Wilder was dismissed for kicking the ball at some Norwich water bottles after 65 minutes as he tried to put the ball back into play quickly.
However since his Basil Fawlty moment he and his team have got firmly back on track.
Manager Chris Wilder admits he is disappointed his Sheffield United side didn’t score more than four goals in their historic Steel City Derby victory over Wednesday on Sunday. Former Owls striker Leon Clarke, scored a brace as United, who also had John Fleck and Mark Duffy on the score-sheet, netted four times at Hillsborough for the first time in their 128-year history.
But Clarke, leading the line in the absence of skipper Billy Sharp and Clayton Donaldson, squandered two good one-on-one chances as United ran out deserved winners at the home of their most bitter rivals. And Wilder, who turned 50 the day before the derby, admitted: “I think we can play. “We were a little bit disappointed that we didn’t get a few more if I’m honest, because we got into a great position a few times. “We played and broke it up. We showed all the characteristics to win a tough game against our local rivals and it doesn’t get any better.
Leon Clarke scored twice as last term’s League One title-winners moved to within two points of leaders Cardiff following a 2-0 victory over Wolves.
Clarke broke the deadlock during the closing stages of the first-half, steering an Enda Stevens cross beyond John Ruddy. He was on target again just before the hour - heading home a set-piece from substitute Mark Duffy - after Ruben Neves, a £15.8m signing from Porto, missed a penalty for Wolves.

Mat Mills will be suspended for this game after picking up his 5th yellow card.
This shouldn't be the only change that Warburton makes to a defence that has at times looked amateurish against both Villa and Fulham.
Neither Darikwa or Traore look like proper fullbacks to me and when they push up that leaves acres of space down each flank for the opposition to exploit and expose the limitations of our central defenders.
I put this down to a combination of formation, playing three at the back and tactics, trying to always play out from the defence, against opposition that presses up and players who are not comfortable receiving the ball while being closely marked.
We are displaying relegation form at the moment and Warburton needs to put that right starting tomorrow. The blades always win after scoring an early first half goal and we are in the habit of conceding an early goal, that needs to change otherwise I can only envisage another disappointing result.

Despite looking like the away side for a lot of that game. That may have been Warburton's intention and you can't really knock it as it managed to get the Eefw a great result. Still a little unsure about this zonal marking. The Reds defender in numbers and kept them at arm's length until the closing stages. Just didn't get numbers up around Murphy when the ball was won enough.

Pleased to see Forest show a bit of stickability. MOTM for me was Osborn. The worst thing he did was the awful corner that led to the equaliser!

I think the team would have struggled without the energy Osborn brought. Bridcutt is neat in possession but a bit powderpuff in the tackle. Sheff U players ran through him several times.
Bouchalakis h Lowe to firm things up and keep possession a little better. The 4-3-2-1 of the second half stopped Sheff U getting in down the flanks as much as they had been doing. I would start with that rather than the 3-5-2.

Shame we didn't get to see Billy Sharp. He got a good reception from the Forest fans when he was warming up.

Can't be too disgruntled with being in the top half of the table at this stage going into another international break.

Aaargh, that's unlucky. You may want to take the stadium tour though. That's quite a stadium to see. Their trophy cabinet is nearly as full as ours!!!!!

Could have been worse, could have had tickets for the game yesterday v Las Palmas. Understand why they decided to play behind closed doors, though.
Will definitely take the stadium tour. Won't be a complete disaster.
