I know a lot of the good charity work that plenty of footballers do goes unnoticed in general as it doesn't really sell for the papers, but in a modern day where there are just as many flashy young show offs like the Paul Pogba's and Raheem Sterlings, it's always nice to read about a grounded hard working individual that loves to give back and help out where he can.
A credit to your club and big respect to Andy

A lot of footballers do phenomenal work for charity through their foundations. Like you say, it won't sell the papers like an England international smoking a ciggy would.

Paine great work done on Merseyside by both clubs. The food bank collections have been going on at Goodison home games for about 2 years now.
It's good to see it getting support, but in the UK should people really have to do this?

Great to see. I hope I'm wrong but the 2 the op mentions don't strike me as the types that would, but you never know. Mata is another great example.
