Martial vs Hazard since 15/16 Season

Since 15/16 in the Premier League...

Hazard:

📅 71 Games
🅰️ 8 Assists
⚽️ 20 Goals

Martial:

📅 62 Games
🅰️ 12 Assists
⚽️ 18 Goals

Saw this on twitter. Just shows how good Martial is or how overrated Hazard is? Obviously you can't base everything from stats. But I know who I'd rather have right now.

Very lucky to have a player of Martial's quality. Bear in mind Martial comes off the bench usually

When martial reaches his peak he will be a much more productive player than hazard.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doubt it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure it's such a far fetched statement. Hazard is generally a 15-20 goal a season man while Martial has already hit 17 in a season and has a great chance of hitting similar numbers again this time around.

He may never be as good of a player Hazard, time will tell but there's every possibility he'll become more productive in terms of goals and assists
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's more to being productive than goals and assist's. I like Martial but he will never have the sheer impact on a team Eden has with us, apart from THAT season he has dragged us to position's above the team's actual level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You are not helping yourself with statements like 'NEVER' have the sheer impact.

Martial is 21, at 21 Hazard was also not having the sheer impact.

Besides, the ja606 clairvoyance is a disease that needs treatment.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Umm yes he was. In the second half of his 1st season at Chelsea at that age he dragged a team on paper only good enough for 6th at best upto 3rd. Mata's form fell off a cliff and he returned from his ballboy ban like a man possessed.

If you swap Man Utd and Chelsea conversion rate around in the 2016/17 season Man Utd would have easily won the league and Chelsea would have finished 6th The reality is one of the main differences from last season is our finishing. We are actually not playing much better winning games then when we did when were drawing games last season.

We won 2 cup competitions last season as we were a really good team.

Burnley (6th) are perfect example this season ahead of Liverpool (7th) in the league. Liverpool had 72 shots and 23 on target more than they have faced but they scored 12 and conceded 11.

Burnley are one of the worst teams in premierleague. I don't know why Dyche gets praised for his team scoring 1 goal from like 3 chances and conceding 20 chances or so per game but conceding less than a goal per game. Burnley also allow tons of clear chances against them but create very few for them. Its like the footballing gods are with them.

So Liverpool 72 shots and 23 on target more vs Burnley 65 shots and 11 on target less then opposition but Burnley have got +2GD and Liverpool +1GD and 12 points each.

Man Utd were like Liverpool and Chelsea were like Burnley last season hence why we finished 5 places below Chelsea. A football manager can look clueless like De Boer and Dyche can get praised despite De Boer being by far the better manager and Dyche being statistically one of the worst. Dyche game plan is hope the opposition miss 20 chances and score a goal from 3 chances to get a result De Boer who was sacked was like never score a goal from 60 chances but concede like from every 3 chances.
