Got me thinking, mind when burley was manager of hearts.
undefeated in 10 and won their first 8 including a draw with celtic and beating rangers.
have to wonder if they could have won it that year if their lunatic owner didn't keep overstepping the mark, though celtic only lost 3 that year we also drew about 8 games.
makes u wonder doesnt it. Also given the financial mess that mutant left hearts in a season in the championship is a pretty sweet deal when u look at what happend with rangers.

Hearts were 2 points above Celtic when Burley was pushed....think they would have lasted a while in the title race but would have ultimately fell away so many smaller teams do....they clung on for 2nd place that year I am sure
