Good to see that the Royals' Away fans initiative is being reciprocated when they visit The Home of Football: Pride Park in November:

Good on Reading for sorting this out; some of the ticket prices I've seen are nothing short of a disgrace and, with one of the larger travelling contingents in the division, Rams are often targeted for fleecing by the smaller clubs, Bolton's ludicrous Β£32 being a prime example.
I'd like to see the Championship instigate this as a rule to make some inroads into returning the game to the budget of the average household... not that it would impact my match-going decisions you understand; I just have better things to do with my time, but you schmucks with your priorities all screwed up would probably appreciate it.

Totally agree re: £20
However, call me an idiot but I wonder if there’s some strange logic in clubs charging more and deterring away fans - hoping to gain a home advantage (ala Billy at Forest)?
There’s £££millions at stake to get promoted or, indeed, stay in the Championship.
If clubs lose, say, 500 away fans by charging more this pales into insignificance in comparison if it ‘helps’ the home teams cause?

Only a supporter of a fragile team like Derby would come up with that.

Derby have also moved and reduced the away team’s allocation so that’s a bit rich!!

Derby have reduced the away allocation as they have demand from home supporters for more seats, (something you lot have nothing to worry about).

The easiest way to get the rip-off clubs to bring down their prices is for ALL away fans to boycott the games......
........... no chance of that happening though!

Leeds fans always go away in numbers and so probably get their pants taken down more often than most: maybe they should look at instigating a similar policy to Reading, as should we and all Championship clubs.

Leeds also charge a ridiculous price to visit their awful ground though. The three worst value for money grounds, Hillsborough, Elland Road and the City Ground.
