Another one bites the dust?

Charly Musonda on his Instagram:
You sacrifice, you work hard, you give more than what's expected and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should. And what do you get back?
Literally nothing...
Done.

His brother then wrote the following response:
It's looks like they wouldn't know if Ronaldo or Messi coming out of the academy.
smh.

At present there's mixed reports about whether he's talking about Chelsea or Belgium, but given are track record I wouldn't be surprised if we've told him he's not in our direct plans and is going on loan in January.

In the meantime Willian is putting in mediocre performances.

Hold on, you say Naughton didn't play?

Lmao.

Christensen sacrificed, worked hard and excelled to a level no one expected and what has he got back? The faith of Conte, the board and the fans. What has Musonda done? Failed in Spain's 2nd tier

Hope the door doesn't hit him on the way out.

BK, let's be honest here, you get a tad emotional when one of the brothers from the Chelsea academy get loaned out or sold

Haven't said anything here that many others haven't

Next player who people pass off as having a bad attitude and only the best get chances? Gets sold and just gets called average, only to then realise his potential at another big club? Musonda finds himself in a situation too many a talented youngster at Chelsea has been in before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which players from the academy have come back to haunt us? The closest is Jack Cork who plays for Burnley.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never mentioned academy I mentioned youngsters at the club, to further develop my point youngsters at the club who we should/could develop into first team squad players academy or not. People bring this point up to avoid talking about de Bruyne, Lukaku, etc. where for me the sentiment is still the same.

Beyond this a matter of time before academy players start biting us back. See Chalobah and Solanke in 2-3 years time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
De Bruyne was a feck up admittedly, Lukaku on the other hand came back to Cobham and pretty much demanded us to abandon the signing of Diego Costa, his sale has been more than justified.

Solanke scored 7 goals (3 of them pens) in 25 games in the Dutch League, a league full of defenders that make Yoshida and Lovren look like Maldini and Nesta, he is nothing special and as for Chalobah, he has found his level like Bertrand has.

It's funny through all of this no one mentions what's going on with Christensen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bertrand is exactly the type of player we could have blooded into a dependable starter/squad player, if Chalobah becomes as good as him which he probably will it's another blunder on ours. In fact if it's true that we inserted a buy back clause, don't be surprised if we bid to buy him back should he reach Bertrand's level.

It's the type of mentality that a player on his first loan at 18 in professional football is poor, so he should be put on the scrap heap like your view is on Solanke that leads to our youngsters getting disillusioned like Musonda appears to be doing imo, a systematic put down by fans and managers taking a risk on assimilating young unproven players into the squad, and as soon as they go 'they weren't good enough anyway'.

Christensen is a good start, yes.

Unfortunately the likes of Bertrand, Chalobah would not accept the bench. Hence why they left CFC. So will many other CFC youths in search of first team football.

It will be shame if we do lose Christensen as he looks very promising player

He could have been a squad player but Azpi was a better LB and Alonso is 100 times more suited to wing back.

We will see then about Chalobah, i am yet to see this potential top player other's do and i personally believe Watford is his level. And it's not just the Vittese loan with Solanke, i always felt he was pretty average at youth level, well compared to Tammy defiently, imagine if the latter went to Holland? He'd smash scoring record's.

If Tammy or Christensen get sold i'd be hugely disappointed and upset, but i just don't get it with Nat, Solanke and Musonda and will be very surprised if they hit the level required at Chelsea for squad player standard, let alone first Xl.

Christensen is in the Courtois category as opposed to the likes of Bertrand and Lukaku. If he will only stay as a regular starter we have to accommode him.
