Can't help but feel Gomez or TTA are in for a hard game. Neither are great on their inside channel and both have a booking in them. But as said I'd fancy Salah up against Young or Darmian. I'm getting excited about his game now but it's easily my least favourite of the season.

That's what I'd be most worried about if I were you. Rashford and Martial can work the ball both ways, and both are on fire at the moment.

And if you double up on whichever one of them, two of Mata, Mkhi and Lingard are going to be looking for the resulting pockets of space infield, something all three are pretty good at exploiting.

Yeah Clyne is becoming an increasingly bug miss although it's great to see the young lads get game time. They've done quite well but both gave made mistakes at key moments that have led to goals.

I suspect he'll play Gomez as he is better defensively abd in the air but I don't particularly like him at full back. TAA is quality on the ball and has a great delivery but no so great without the ball and could get roasted tbh.

It's going to be cagey. It usually is.

I cannot facking wait lads. I absolutely love these games, even when they are absolute gashdirge as footballing spectacles

I'd hope we'll be a little more expansive than we have been previously. Liverpool's defence and midfield aren't all that. Mane is a big miss for them, but they've still got Salah, Coutinho, Firminho in their ranks and Sturridge dependent on which version of him turns up.

It's also so early in the season that it's worth going for it. Our start has been exceptional so far and our season won't be made nor broken in mid-October.

First of all, I'm not suggesting we play gung-ho.

Secondly, there exists just as much possibility of us battering them as there does the other way around.

I don't want to see our wide attacking players as auxiliary full backs, or our backline camped on our own 18 yard line. It's not necessary, and isn't conductive of good counter attacking.

Mourinho's 'pragmatism' too often had us penned in and unable to get out against certain sides last season. We ended up a bit like that against Southampton a couple of weeks ago, too.
