Surely not McKay nor McLeish !!!!! My fear was that if Strachan had been allowed to continue , when would he ever have been sacked ! He had 2 1/2 campaigns and reverted to "trusted failures" in his last game.
His daft comments didn't help either.

His Mum and Dad were from Nairn and Dumfries. His sister was born in Scotland before they moved to England (Sam himself was born in Dudley). I think he would be very proud of his Scottish roots and would consider the job. Wages are irrelevant after his pay off from the England job.
