Let's move on

We were awful yesterday. Jose and players were both to blame. Jose for the negative tactics and Herrera and the front 4 playing like championship players when they had the ball. Anyway it wasn't a terrible result so let's move on.

We have two games coming up in the next week and if we can win both it keeps our very good start to the season going.

Wednesday we have Benfica who I don't much about but they are surely better than their CL results so far have suggested. I expect a tough game but I also expect us to come through it. 3 points here surely means qualification and probably the group win also.

Then onto Huddersfield Saturday. They started off well like promoted teams often do but since winning the first 2 they haven't won and have only scored once. We should be putting this team away and need to as City are nailed on the beat Burnley at home.

Win these two and our season is very much still on track.

Not sure that game has really proven anything for United's title credentials, still a lot to prove against the better sides in the league that's for sure. It was basically a carbon copy of last seasons game if I'm honest.

I must say, United were disciplined yes, but they were poor on the ball through large parts. Especially Matic. I don't think I have ever watched a midfielder so slow and wasteful with the ball at his feet ever.

Benfica are in poor form.

After a solid enough start to the season, they have a 3-3-3 record over their last nine games in all comps, including their 5-0 CL hammering by an average Basel side. None of their domestic games over that period have been against title rivals and a couple were early round cup games against poor competition. In short, they are there for the taking.

Which amuses me greatly, because 90% of the people in our village support Benfica. Very much looking forward to the atmosphere in the bar on Weds

Had no issue with yesterday bar the Lukaku missed chance

A point at Klanfield is always a good result
