Well done, Captain Cooper
Not had the best of times overall at Leeds, but seems a good lad and trusted by a couple of managers now with the arm band. Never one to hide after a defeat and answers fans on social media despite receiving lots of abuse.
His decision making can let him down, but the Cardiff game aside, he's come on a lot this season in consistency. Hope he continues to improve.
Cooper 100 games

But we do watch football, every week, home and away.
And other than on here I don't know a single person who goes to games regularly who rated Liam Cooper before this season, so don't give me that one.

I don't know anyone who goes to games regularly that doesn't appreciate the role he plays at the club!
See how easy it is to say that?

I appreciate every players efforts even the ones I don't rate. I appreciate he works hard and that he is a nice lad....and that he has played well for the most part this season.
But don't give me the old he's always been good line because he hasn't.

Yes. Yes he has.
He was a bit off in his first season with us, but has always been capable, just been partnered with some rubbish.
Jack Charlton would only look so good if he was partnering alongside Bamba or Bellusci.

He is capable....and then he does something stupid.
Every man and his dog was praising him this season, me included because he's been great and then he makes 2 of the stupidest challenges I've ever seen for no reason at all at Cardiff.
If he cuts that stuff out he will be a great player for us but it's happened too many times over the years. He is getting better, but still got a lot to learn.

I wonder how many said the same about Tom Lees.

Haven't missed him. Fair play to him for going to Wednesday and doing well, but he wasn't great for us and was glad when he left. Whenever I've seen him for them, not seen much to change my mind either

You think Sergio Ramos or Pepe weren't top centre backs?

.....and there is the difference maker, Ramos at times has carried Madrid through especially considering the amount of goals he scores.
Regardless of the level (which is irrelevant) Cooper is not a difference maker.
