One of the good things about Jose’s reign is that in addition to us back in the trophy winning swing of things, we’re very hard to beat.
Since losing to Fenerbahce almost a year ago we’ve lost just the 5 games.
Hull away in the league cup - we’d pretty much won the tie in the first leg
Chelsea in the FA cup - all the talk around the game was that Jose wasn’t too fussed about the game and we weren’t too sad we lost
Arsenal away in the league - a game where Jose was smiling in the interview after we lost as we had much bigger fish to fry afterwards in the semis of the Europa
Spurs away in the league - same as above.
Real in the Super cup/glorified friendly
On Saturday we were boring but I never felt we would lose. And I can’t see us losing many games at all this season. But the difference between this and last is that more often than not we’re winning games.
Under Moyes and LVG as obvious as it sounds, we lost far too many games. In Moyes’ season we lost 12 times in the league and in LVGs last one we lost 10. I’d be surprised if we lost more than 3 this year.
We’re not quite SAF amazing season class but learning not to lose is a great starting point. We certainly have the best defence. A very good foundation to work off.
Hard to beat

while I appreciate the differences Mourinho has made, he really shouldn't be setting up against teams like that regardless of who they are.
I'd rather 1 win out of 3 and two defeats whilst at least showing some flair than 3 draws

I just don’t think he likes losing which is a good habit to have

maybe not, but how long before the fans start to get on his back with his negative style, and then we are left with the "unloved" jose which isn't a good one to have.

I think we’ll only see gmes like this 3/4 times a season in the league
In Europe it’s a pretty good tactic away from home so can’t see people being too upset
