If Mahrez had scored the simpler of his chances on Monday,or Okazaki not missed another sitter at Bournemouth, then would CS had gone?
Of course we will never know, and think as with Ranieri of the players let him down quite badly.Personally with the timing being a little strange, would have expected this on Sunday if we had lost in Swansea.
I think he was gone after Bournemouth,it was such a dire performance, and the team did not look together, and there seemed to be apathy and unhappiness on the pitch. So think it was decided a few days after that.
Would the two misses have changed anything,we will never know.
Feel a bit sorry for CS as it appears that Rudkin should go as well.
Our owners are ruthless, but wonder if they fail to see the bigger picture.
If Mahrez or Okazaki hadn't missed.

....add the Vardy penalty to that as well

Or not having a fully fit and available first team for a single match!

The performances against Bournemouth and Huddersfield were shocking though. West Brom were mostly fairly comfortable against our attack and we have increasingly looked like having no real plan of action other than to hoof the ball up to a Vardy
I agree Shakey is unlucky in terms of the fixture list and also having smugkin as DoF but think back to his daft substitution at Arsenal that cost us the match - the reality is that he could have done better with the players available

TB look at the Squad avalialbe for WBA you are saying you could not get 11 decent players out of that and is that a Nev fact "Shakey questioned Rudkins competence or just a lie? Rudkin and Shakey go back a long way don't think its that.

Its like game of thrones at our club. Or game of throw-ins if you will

Sadly Shakey wasn't – possibly either

I think that Mahrez scores the sitter in addition to the one he did put in the net, we're 13th and Shakey is still manager - fine margins.
The sacking was harsh in the context of survival but put it against the target the owners want (Europe) and 17th place doesn't cut it.

As Cloughie once said to a hypothetical interviewer
' If my Auntie had been my uncle'
Regardless of its and buts Shakey would still have gone
JR would have seen to that.
Now if Rudkin got the boot I would celebrate. Trouble is who would sack hin, himself ?
