Oh when the Spurs........

There was a moment last night, about the middle of the 2nd half. We were attacking, Sissoko bustling, Winks calm and assured, Kane lurking for one more chance. The Madrid fans whistling because we had some good possession. And above the whistling came an amazing rendition of “Oh when the Spurs go marching in" from the 5000 spurs.
A lump came to my throat. At that point in the game, against that opposition, in that stadium, it really felt like we were marching in.
In 2011 we were like plucky underdogs, last season it seemed to early for this young side. This time we’ve beaten the side top of the Bundesliga and got a more than deserved draw at the Bernabeu.
There’s such an organic progression to this club, when it culminates in a trophy it will feel so much better than lottery win trophies like city or Chelsea.
The Spurs are marching, those fans were amazing last night and deserve to “be in that number"

I think opposition fans are being a bit tough on the spurs fans here!

Spurs scored they’re first ever goal against Real Madrid and earned a point against them for the first time.

I remember watching when we beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu 1-0 with a Yossi header and I was at Anfield when we destroyed them 4-0 in the return fixture.

Thought Spurs were going to nick,to be honest, might have done if Harry hadn't missed that one. Also thought they should have had a penalty. Was not impressed with Eriksen though, thought he was the weak link.

Woah lots of Spurs hate on here. I love an underdog story, though, so good on Tottenham for getting a good point last night!

Not every team can go to the Bernabeu and get a draw.

Bitter media and rival fans saying Lloris was a hero like he had 15 shots to save .....he only made 2 or 3 saves ffs, there keeper made some too lest they forget.

Basically when the draw was made, rival fans had bookmarked 4 major wum gameweeks but with us having beaten Dortmund and then drawn in Madrid they’re not taking it well,

We rode our luck at times and Lloris made some good saves, but we had some chances as well. It’s not as if Navas was a spectator in their goal. Tbh I’m not the type to give credit to other clubs for securing good results on here so I don’t expect it back.
