Friends of mine are currently away in the States and have someone staying at their house to look after their black Labrador. However this person works from 9 to 5pm every day, so I go round at lunch time to check on the dog & take him for a walk round the village.
Well today was no different, collected the dog plus poo bags and off we went.
After about 500 yards the dog decided he was going to have a poo, right on the drive of someone's house.
Nothing unusual about that you might say, except..........................the house was called Highbury and there is an Arsenal badge on their gatepost!
Don't you just love intelligent dogs?

I've got a great dane. She's 12 stone and doesn't like people outside of her own 'family'.

I've got a great dane. She's 12 stone and doesn't like people outside of her own 'family'. We tend not to get door to door salesmen, pikeys or jehovahs come round anymore and a prat who thought he could take liberties with my Mrs discovered that gentle giants ain't so gentle. He was last seen running through Walthamstow Forest with his ar5e hanging out of his jeans. They don't judge you, are happy to see you and keep your feet warm in the winter. Great family members.

Why do people have dogs? It's just a burden on other people when the owners decide to go on holiday. At least with cats you can just feed them loads and then leave it for a couple of days. Seems pointless to me.

I tend to agree. Dogs are kind of pointless, but require a huge investment of time, energy and money. My missus wanted us to get one about two years ago, and pretty much everyone I spoke to that had dogs warned against it. She's got a mate who's giving kittens away, I've pretty much given in and agrees we can get a couple. Much less aggro.

You come across as the kind of husband without a pair. Picking kittens over dogs ffs bet your house is decorated in pink as well, quim.
