Willian has definitely been very poor this season, but I think fans should be patient with him. He missed a large part of last season due to his mother passing away, which needs to be taken into consideration in regards to his recent performances.
That being said Hazard should have stayed on, and I have no idea why at 50 minutes, with the margins so tight we bring on Pedro for Luiz. Strange substitutions today to be honest.

He played well last season despite of this. Unless he's having a delayed grieving response, then I don't think his performances should be excused. If he is, then why is he still in contention to play? It is just a waste of a position.

I think last season's demands were less as he was expected to have a smaller roll. This season he is finding it very hard to come in and perform well regularly.
He needs to get played so he can start performing again. Problem is right now his current performances don't merit the starting position he has.

He use to be so much more incisive. Now he's just crap. No patience left. Didn't look happy last season, maybe understandably, and now he just looks like he doesn't know how to play football. Why conte keeps persisting god only knows. Get rid.

Willian was our only player in the last aborted Jose season...he is so capable of much more...he's lost his mojo...
He needs to come on as an impact sub as does Fabregas...we REALLY need to stop starting him.

Willian was still meh in that season, he just had a 2-3 month purple patch of scoring free kicks.
He's always been a mediocre attacker but good tracking back / defensively.
