Good Morning, Good Morning!

Once again, I want to congratulate all the English teams for getting the job done and making positive strides towards the last 16 of the CL.

I'm proud to see that all the English teams are topping their groups!

Even Liverpool managed a win this week. Nice of you to join us lads in your own time eh

Spurs
Liverpool
Man City
Chelsea
Man United

No dropping down to Europa for the English teams this year.

Can we get 4 English sides into the quarters?

Come on England.

Great for English clubs doing well. Spurs group is one of the toughest but we've performed well so far. I'd take second all day long but Poch will want to win the group. 5 English sides in the knock-outs would be incredible.

Arsenal comfortably going through in the Europa too.

With all these sides in Europe, who will win the PL without the distraction?

Watford to be top of the league by the time the group stages are over?

Let's look at the groups:

Chelsea- tough-ish group, doing well. Helped by a sub par atletico this season, but qualifying would be a decent achievement.
Liverpool- only Seville who they can comfortably outspend present any danger. Qualification should be a given.
Spurs- tough group, some decent results so far. Good schievent to go through, although Dortmund look in transition.
City- given how much they've spent, should be going through in a tough group.
Man Utd- easiest group around, anything other than qualification would be an embarrassment.

So, although 5 teams would be great, 2 of those groups should be a walk in the park with qualification expected.

Don't envy Chelsea going to Rome at all. Was so glad when we managed to avoid going there in Europa last year.. never an easy place to visit.

It was in 2008. Mind you, so was everywhere else.

Was that away? Thought it was a home game.

I think he means the 7-1, which was a home game in 2007. We did beat Roma away in 2008 as well, 2-0 I think. Ronaldo's bullet header where he injured himself.

The 7-1 was 2007. 2-0 away in 2008

Yeah, I was thinking about the 7-1, my mistake.
