I liked it!
We picked the worst possible day to go weather wise so we were restricted to pottering about the city centre, ducking and diving for cover most of the times.
But it was a really nice place to spend time. Some beautiful buildings, nice shopping centre, pleasant people. We had a nice lunch in a friendly pub, can't remember the name though Ivan. Big place right in the centre of town.
We will definitely go back next year and hopefully get a better day when we can see a bit more.

When I lived in Arbroath, in the early 90s, it had over 50 pubs. Never more than 5 mins from a drunken idiot.

I was about to kick off with a guy in the pub beside Carrick cop shop, with a wannabee boxer who was being a tool, when the owner of the bar appeared from nowhere to break it up.The owner was a very large fat man, but if trouble brewed he flew up the stairs like a nimja on speed.
