Theories on Lamela

Just looking at the pics of Lamela back in training. Unlike Rose , appears to have not gained any weight after a year off with an injury which for the most part was handled by the medical staff @ Roma. If not on Sunday, appears likely that he will be in the squad for West Ham exactly 12 months to the day since he last played.

Is it just me or is this all too coincidental. Get him out of the country, out of the spotlight, away from the press and voila he reappears looking as good as new ?

I don't really care either way but you do have to wonder if all the failed drugs tests rumours were actually true? Its not like anyone found out about Berahino until West Brom leaked it once he was sold to Stoke & there have been plenty more lower profile cases without there being a massive fuss made of it.

Lets be honest, he's an odd looking F*8cker, I would not be shocked at all if he had been busted for god knows what !

Yeah but where's the fun in speculating he's been injured for a year!

If it is exactly 12 month to the day then it's amusingly suspicious.

So if I'm reading the above right then it's most likely that Lamela will return to the team exactly a 12 months after his last game.

It's almost as if he had a 1 year ban....

I will believe Lamela is back when I see him on the pitch at Wumberley or wherever.
I myself do not believe he will last long if he does come back.
Furthermore, his doctors have probably advised him to give up footy.
But wot do you expect a lad who's done nothing else in his life but kick a football?
He mmay try to come back. But don't hold your breath!
