The ABBA system

The ABBA system is designed to help the team going second. In the 2017 The Football Association Community Shield's ABBA system shootout, we saw CFC's goalkeeper take a spot kick ahead of a new £60m striker and both missed. Arsenal rode a better ABBA shootout, scoring four out of four, going second. Mertesacker was in stitches, he lifted the Shield and Sanchez joined the celebrations on the pitch, everyone shaking hands after an ABBA system. Is the ABBA system a better way than the traditional go-by-go style, what do people think 5 months later?

Played in a penalty shootout today and it was the traditional abab system which is just far better. The tension and pressure is all part of the enjoyment. Think it should change back next season

Or the second player for team A the ABBA system is awful. I fhte first player missed you could have just gone 2 goals down so the pressure is really on.

Problem with the Abba system is that it's winner takes all.
