Will Monk make it to Elland Road?

What looked like being fixture of the season for us is under threat perhaps as Boro fans are getting fed up of Monk it seems who are struggling atm. My question is, will Monk still be at Boro by the time we meet on 19 Nov?
They are 13th, 5 points off the playoffs and have back to back away games at Reading and Hull before facing Sunderland. Not exactly a kind run of games. Will he last another month?

Thought's on this and is the Sheff Utd game going to be the biggest game of the season to date?

More likely to than Simon Grayson, that will be an interesting game, Middlesbrough/Sunderland, they can compare notes on what it was like managing a real football team and where it went wrong. Though to be fair Grayson was the better manager.

assuming Grayson is still in charge.

Having a poor season so far but only takes 3 wins on the bounce and can soon change. Look at Villa. Bruce was close to going and now they're creeping up

Only satisfaction I get is from those TalkSport presenters who though Boro under Monk would walk it.

Kebabs got it right. Bruce was supposedly on the brink a few weeks ago, Villa fans were annoyed. But now they're top 6 and looking strong.

We had a poor start last year but Monk turned it around.

In a month, they could be top 6 and looking good. Only thing you can say is autos are top to catch up on, a good start is a necessary in this league. So they might be disappointed with that but don't gain anything sacking Monk now

I hope he is because it will make for a great atmosphere.

Must admit I do smile whenever they get a bad result because I hope it proves the grass isn't always greener but if you asked me now who I would rather have it would be TC all day.

If I was a Sunderland fan and they sacked Grayson after such a short amount of time I would be spitting blood with rage.

That club is an utter mess and they need to steady their ship majorly.

Graysons record in that regard speaks for itself.

He built Blackpool up from nothing
He got us and Huddersfield up when other had failed time and time again
Preston were practically in free fall in league 1 when he took over and he turned them into an established championship team.

I know he is always going to be marmite, but he is what that club needs in a major way

He should have stayed at Preston.

I think even he will struggle to stop the rot up there, the club is in a bad way - Leeds United in 2006/07

Sunderland are a state ns frankly would have been a miracle for Grayson to get them firing so quickly. Developing a winning mentality throughout the club takes time. Hoping they beat Boro

Preston are looking better without SG
