And the Celts go marching on........

60 games unbeaten now domestically under Brendan Rodgers. 54 wins and 6 draw's. That's unbelievable.

Bit of a strange game on Saturday, not once did I ever feel like we were going to lose it and didn't feel any pressure whatsoever, even when there was the 1 goal in it. We looked a wee bit under par overall, but still won comfortably. Delighted to see Dembele back in amongst it, the guy is a class act.

Was never a penalty imo but it probably sparked the game into a bit of life and made the 2nd half more exciting! Gordon was starting to annoy me a bit with his careless passing.

Another note, dreadful support from Hibs. An hour away so no excuses. I;ve heard early ko and ticket prices as the excuse but they took 18K to the SC semi final with a 12pm ko last season. They demanded half the allocation. Why couldn't they sell from the West stand round, like the Motherwell end was yesterday? Looked terrible tbh and I expected a lot bigger numbers from them.

Motherwell in the final then.....had a good feeling they would do the damage yesterday and Moult would be the man. Available on a pre contract in January, I would take him tbh. Rangers would be silly not to go for him as he would be guaranteed games there, where as he would no doubt be a squad player at Celtic if we were interested. He reminds me of Gary Hooper

The elbow the boy Cardoso took was a shocker and looked a real fckin sore one! Well player should have been straight red carded for that. That was at 1-0 Motherwell though so they would have had something to hold onto. Cannot believe Alves never even got booked Ref standing right in front of it and books Moult! Seen him out complaining about the physicality of Scottish football, christ he's got a cheek man

Yet another failure from Pedro in a 'big match' . Should win on Weds but if they lose on Sat at Murrayfield against Hearts then it could be curtains for him? Hopefully no but

Another big match for us on Weds, bring it on!!!!!

I know it's unlikely Ivan, but I hope you're never in the position.

If I am then so be it. I firmly believe in fairness and it would be unfair to have a neutral venue skewered in favour of one team.

More tickets sold means more money for the smaller clubs. It's better tickets go to football fans rather than increasing corporate sponsor allocations, which is the only other way to ensure a full stadium.

Also, I'm not a celtic fan

Where have I said we are entitled to extra tickets?!

You want to minimise the time Motherwell have to sell tickets so you can get your grubby little mitts on them as early as possible, knowing fine well that the less time they have the more likely it is that Celtic will get them.

It's nothing but greed and trying to turn a neutral venue into a Celtic friendly venue.

You’ve got to be at the WUM! Or you’ve just lost it completely.

My understanding is that it doesn't increase corporate sponsors, while at the same time it's not just about money for these clubs when competing in the cup finals. For most of the clubs, this is their first chance in years (often decades) to get a chance to lift silverware. They're in it for the glory.

Do you want to go to the final? Is this what this is all about?

No but he's got a second cousin in Carstairs who goes regular to Murrawell games. That's regular as in every time they get to a final.

That tendency is Not exactly unique to smaller clubs fans.

As timmy explained earlier, they had a world record attendance in Seville.

Not sure what's happened to the 250,000+ fans that went there and why Celtic only have a stadium that can accommodate such a tiny fraction?

It makes it even more odd that they had such small attendances during the Mowbray and Deila days.

The estimated figure was actually 80,000, more than half of whom didn't have a ticket. Those who did were, by and large, regular attenders at home matches

Thank you for elaborating the point so eloquently.
