Notice a lot of discussion about his performances recently so thought I would put an article up about him..
The thing that frustrates me the most about him
Is his aparant lack of football intelligence he reads the game so poorly at times..
Tries fancy laid back flicks and passes in dangerous zones, looses the ball far to easily and my worst one is when he does loose the ball and tracks back he doesn’t have the vision to read what’s around him he will loose the ball and fair play track the man but there could be absolutely nothing on for the opposition and plenty cover around the attacking player and he will still go in and make a stupid needless foul leading to set peace’s into our box that lets be honest is one of our major weaknesses..
Clearly his head is turned by Juventus...
My verdict drop and sell in January...

Can got shoved into the RB slot and promptly made and error as he was trying to settle so I feel a bit sorry for him. I still think the root of the problem is at CB and GK, if we were solid there then there would have been no need for a reshuffle in game.
Can wants his cake and eat it with a pay rise and get out clause so the club are quite right not to offer him what he wants. To be honest he’s not all that, just never consistent enough.
Will run it’s natural course I think and off he will go to be bang average elsewhere.

Can is such a frustrating player. When he's at the top of his game he looks a seriously good player who's capable of running the midfield, but when he's not at his best, he's a 5/10 player who makes silly mistakes.

For me he's a DM. He has ability, but moving the ball when under pressure is something he struggles with.
He needs space to operate which he gets more of in a deeper midfield role.
I would like to see him play as a DM. Henderson, of whom I'm a fan, is in poor form imo. I would like to see Can offered the opportunity to play as the deeper midfielder to see if he can offer our deservedly maligned defenders a bit more protection. He impressed in this role at the back end of last season.

We are already so light in midfield we cannot afford to sell him.
If we did we wouldn’t get a replacement in time either, which means our season really would be screwed, if it isn’t already.

At end of last season can excelled. We also were more solid and ground out down.games without conceding and that was with Can as the dm. We need to drop Hendo in my opinion I would even drop can as he dies not seem to be committed or up to it but we have to get him.back at dm and see how we are. If he still.stinks the place out then just get rid in January

and hes still our best midfielder, play him in the 6 where his best performances are, how come juventus dont want henderson?
