Looks like the duck will be staying at Coventry which kinda backs up what Cinci said about him never playing for Wolves 1st team.

I've never seen him play so can't really comment on his potential or even the style of player he is and his strengths and weaknesses. most youth players don't break through at the club they are first with, and there's even less chance if wolves do go on to promotion into the prem because the level required is that much greater again.

add to that FOSUN's wealth and the desire of fans and owners to hit the ground running rather than struggle with unproven homegrown players. I don't think many will get a regular shirt in the prem, whereas there's a good chance duck and others would have made it into the championship squad especially if FOSUN reduced funding levels.

I voted for leo too btw. record breaking striker deserves the recognition this month.
