Super Mo has started his LFC career like a train.

10 goals in 16 games, also missed a pen and missed a handful of absolute sitters. He’s also scored 3 for his country this season.

His record in his first 16 games for LFC compares very well with some legends:

Lots of caveats (age, starts/subs etc) but goals in first 16 LFC apps:
12 Fowler
11 Sturridge
10 SALAH, Torres
8 Aldridge
7 Suárez, Dalglish

So how many is Salah going to score this season? Can he continue this rate and stay fit? If so he could be looking at a 30 goal debut season. Or will the goals dry up as opposition learn his strengths more and look to cut him off?

So after 10 in 16 games, Mo decided to crank it up a notch and get 10 in his next 10 .

No sign of him dropping off at the moment.

He should be looking at 30 minimum now with barring injury likely another 20-25 games still to play.

He’s already Liverpool’s 3rd highest scorer in a season since Fernando Torres got 22 in 2009-2010.

He needs 4 more to match what Sturridge got in 2013/14, and if he scores more than 31 he will be our highest scorer in a season for 10 years.

34 would put him above Torres and behind Fowler’s 36 from 1995-96.

No Liverpool player has scored 40 since Ian Rush in 1986-87.
