We went to play with a negative attitude, unable to withstand wave after wave of Chelsea attacks and gradually the goal came with a loaded defence (3 CBs) caught out of shape.
This philosophy of playing for a 'good away point' may be pragmatic but is ultimately futile.

Ok, let's see our big tests this season;
Pool- negative tactics played for draw and got it.
Spurs- somewhat negative but won through a route one goal- as pure route one as you get
Chelsea- Very negative, don't dersedve anything from it.
So have really turned s corner? It did we just have an easy run up til now?

He would have made fack all difference- see big games last season where he disappeared.
That said, he would have at least tried to do something creative.
