Who' next?

So presuming we get what we want and Pulis leaves, who do we realistically want to replace him?

Somebody mentioned Thomas Tuchel the other day and he looks like a damn good option to me. He left Dortmund in May where he had a 62-63% win ratio. Previously he had a successful spell at Mainz.

Tuchel is currently being linked with Everton though the bookies only have him at 25/1.

Your thoughts?

Seriously JH? You want to replace Pulis, who looks like taking West Brom down this year, with Bilic who looked like taking West Ham down this year. In meantime West Ham want Moyes who did take Sunderland down last year.

Yes.

West Ham is a poisoned chalice of a job. He needs a fresh challenge. Gets his footballers playing on the deck and helped develop the likes of Modric and the rest of the World class Croats.

Just my opinion.

I'd take Bilic over Pulis. Mind you, i'd give Peter Sutcliffe the job over TP!

Chris Wilder, is another name that's been mentioned on here. He's done an amazing job at Sheffield United. In fact, his entire track record looks good.

Of course it's your opinion and I respect that JH. It would be much easier for all concerned for the time being and Pulis turned the situation around.
it's my opinion that West Ham was far from a poisoned chalice. Bilic, like Pulis, inherited an established PL club which had got a big stadium on the cheap and an exponential growth in support. They now rival Liverpool in that respect. If he had been up to it, West Ham, could be flying by now.
I am not going to disrespect Wilder by trashing his performance to date Pulisuarus. However it is a big ask for a new man to come into the PL and immediately be confronted with a relegation battle.

I feel it's a risky job to take. Fan pressure, unreal expectations and the 2 $ex barons run the club.

The fact they have a new stadium and a growing support could even go against them.

Lets hope you're right. With all the "disadvantages" you mention plus Moyes at the helm, they should be certs for relegation.

Correct

Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes is sacked by February.

That club's in a death spin.

They're currently making us look good.

My gut feeling is that if Pulis cannot save us then the only other manager I would any reasonable amount of confidence in, is Allardyce.
There is talk he might go to Everton. I find it hard to believe this because Everton have been such a footballing side over the years. If they don't take him, and their fans might scare the board off, like Wolves did fans did with Bruce, then he is the person in whom I would have a measure of confidence.
Anyone else and it would be a toss up whether we made it.

Koeman for me.

He did fine with Southampton. And probably would have come good with Everton.
