But can he do it on a warm day in the City of Manchester?

Says a lot about his quality as a winger. Quick and gets himself into good positions and of course, scores goals.

If there is anything I'd put against him, it that he'd had enough chances to add at least another 3/4 goals to that tally that have been quite simple chances e.g. the one away at Man City. Also, sometimes just lacks that anticipation of where the ball will run or how the ball is fed into him but its not a huge issue really.

Yeah his skill set is weird. I'm not sure I've seen as an intelligent a rinner with his technique, which isn't great, but his chance conversion (or the perception of it) is something people label Cavani and Higuain with.

The movement creates those opportunities. I'm hoping he can improve his final ball because if he can he'll be lethal.

He's not really a winger though. Seems to spend more time as the foremost player than nominal striker, Firmino.

Despite being able to do that he does also cover his full back and track the opposition full back. So yes he is a winger (with a brain).

He does considerably less defensive work than most wingers in the league. He has won 1 tackle in the league all season and has 2 interceptions. Even lousy as fack Ozil in considerably less minutes than Salah has won 6 tackles and 6 interceptions. Compared to your other regular attacking players including Firmino, Coutinho, Mane and Lallana (when he plays), Salah averages the least touches, least passes, least dribbles, least chances created etc. By pretty big margins too. This means he operates more for you as a wide forward. A bit like what Walcott used to do for us back when he wasn't completely useless.

I wouldn't really call him a winger.

He presses and tracks back well. It doesnt always result in tackles or interceptions but anyone that's watched him for more than 5mins can see he works hard.

I think there's like only one website in the world that I know who tries to quantify pressing.

Surely Messi has more goals

No, Salah is better

Nope Salah is good but Robben is better than every other player in his position as a winger.

Why do people argue with reality? Salah is a winger.....watch liverpool play, he usually plays on the right wing and makes runs inside aswwll as trying to beat his full back/press the opposition. Why come out with all this nonsense?
