I want to see Nketiah given a chance to be sub for a game and get 10 mins. I would not have chosen this game for it though!!!

Laca is being taken off in most games, probably as it is a new league for him and a lot more physical than he is used to. I dont have an issue with that but it may mean he has to play the whole game or the young Eddie has to come on. Something has to give.

I actually find this an exciting situation to be in. I dont rate Giroud and never really have. I hoped he would prove to be a super sub but its not turning out that way, 1 goal in 177 mins in the league this season.Nketiah may be young, but the likes of Fabregas and Rooney were first team players at 16, so he can do it at 18.

The only good part of the situation is for Nketiah to get his chance Giroud being out means he can be tried as the only option. If it doesnt work the manager can turn around and say it was too early for him so not to worry about it, it was never planned at this stage of his career so shouldnt damage his confidence badly.

I don't think Lacazette / Nketiah is the only option. And I highly doubt that, if it was, AW would go for it. If AL9 doesn't play the full 90 minutes, he'll probably go with Theo and have Alexis finish the game as the striker. That or something equally stupid like the start the game with Iwobi, Sanchez and Theo up front!

Not saying your idea is necessarily bad. Just that the chances of it happening are slim.

I bet Kane is not out though?
