Autumn Internationals

What do we all think after Week 1?

From my point of view it was GT bringing to the Scotland table exactly what he did at Glasgow - swashbuckling rugby with an attitude of If You Score 5, We'll Score 6. Very exciting to watch, but what about the defence Toonie? Looked to me like we don't bother with such mundane matters any more. If we defend like that against the All Black 4ths, the 1s will kill us this weekend.

Didn't see the Ireland game, so can't comment, but looks like a great start for them.

England were predictably turgid, ground out the win, but not much else to say really.

Only saw 20 minutes of the Welsh game. Looked pretty open, but oh boyos those basic handling errors. Navidi looked good but that hairdo helps to get him noticed I suppose.

What are the thoughts of the guys who know far more about rugby than I do?

All opinions guys, all opinions, and you are hidebound by your prejudice that anything to do with Scottish rugby can't possibly be any good.

You have a mighty fall to come guys, a mighty fall.

It's been a pretty poor weekend for our clubs, can Sarries do something about it now?

I take it you’ve noticed Gloucesters rise to power, I can’t see it lasting, and I’m not sure quite how it has happened, but at least it makes a change from always being 9th!

Another disastrous weekend for the English clubs. Pretty much all out with a slim chance of squeezing into the last 8, which I guess means a trip to Leinster or Clermont.
Worst of all though is the injury to Binny, he is our key forward (along with Maro) and we will miss him badly in the 6N. We don't even have Hughes as a backup, so somebody will have to be thrown in. This really affects our chances to retain the title imo, hopefully I'm wrong.
