England....after 50yrs.

Has the penny actually dropped?? A back THREE no less, and youngsters blooded Vs top teams. For once are we actually moving forward with the national team, continuity with the u17 and u21s and a manager that trusts them. No billy big blks so i must pick them for once.

At this rate i may even think we can win just ONE game at the world cup. Word out to Gomez, just sayin called the likes of TAA and Gomez would be important for LFC but looks like Gomez is at home in an England shirt...well played son. (rather have Gomez in cb than Lovren as well)

can I ask how Germany went backwards before going forward? they've always got into the latter stages of competitions?

Southgate has at least been brave but any credit for that gets taken back when you name Jake Livermore in your starting line ups.

He's rubbish.

England reserves did well, so well the overhyped German and Brazilian teams could not muster a goal between them.

Tbf they were barely trying

Amazing that more people wanted to see boring England at £35-£100 play Germany (81,382) in a meaninless friendly than swashbuckling Spurs against Liverpool (80,827) at cheaper prices. Despite people making up kids for a quid stories

Your asininity is unfettered today. Yes, imagine Man U, Liverpool or Spurs having more fans than England.

Just wouldn't happen, would it...

I would keep that whole back line and keep Dier!

Also would introduce a better midfield
