Albion vs Chelsea

League football returns and the prospect of our glorious owner witnessing the potential Pulis backlash.

Needless to say I expect us to park the bus.

I'll be interested to see what the atmosphere will be like if Chelsea win comfortably.

Your thoughts?

No wins in 10, good to see Pulis has been working hard during the international break...on his tan in Barbados.

Pulis suggested Chadli would come back in, but as we know Pulis lies. So back to 5-3-2 with 3 holding DM's, while Chadli and our 4 wingers sit on the bench again.

The owner coming in to watch really isn't a good sign and if we lose a goal early then it's game over for him. Although anyone 'hoping' Chelsea beat us can fack orf.

Potentially toxic atmosphere, players look lost and the owner jetting in to witness it all. 1-0 Albion.

I've got us to come away 1-2

We'll concede a silly free kick somewhere

You see clubs like Huddersfield and Brighton coming up to the PL and making a fist of it.

Little clubs like Bournemouth and Watford doing the same. Clubs like Burnley doing ok too.

Then you look at WBA... and you have to wonder how, with that squad, the Baggies are struggling.

There's only one answer: the tactics of Tony Pulis.

1. He is too defence minded - ok when away to Man City or whatever but when at home to smaller teams? That's in excusable.

2. He keeps on playing players out of position too. Not just now and then when there are injuries but every week almost.

For some reason the bloke has it in mind that you have to have a more or less flat back 7. (8 counting the GK).

Pulis, it dont work that way mate! You need to change approaches to suit the opposition ffs!

Time's up for Pulis. Got to be.

And if I was the owner I'd have lined up a replacement by now!

They won't have a replacement lined up Midland, anymore than Everton who seem to be in a mess now. I still feel that the best thing for the club would be for Pulis to turn it round though I am losing faith in that now.
I would say he has until the Newcastle game which is a must win. That said, if we were to lose badly tomorrow he could be out.
We gave them a good game last year. I expect us to do the same tomorrow, and draw.

and as soon as you sack him...he'll be snapped up by another struggling club
