Thoughts?
Salah can eclipse Pires, Ljungberg, Giggs

Pires recorded 2 Golden Assists (only player ever to do it) - 1 at France '98 & 1 in the Euro 2000 Final. He won a World Cup, Euro 2000, 2 Confederations Cups, the Double with Arsenal, and was an Invincible.
Ljungberg was a multiple PL & FA Cup champion. He got a modelling contract with Calvin Klein, and was the face of a worldwide campaign which was one of the company's most successful ever.
There was a huge billboard in Times Square with a picture of Freddie in his underwear. There's no way little Mo Salah will ever reach that level of star power.
Giggs was awful from 2003 onwards, but he was very good in the 90s. Plus he won loads of titles; PLs, CLs, FA Cups etc.

Seems a lot of people have not read the article.
He just says that Salah may score more than those mentioned if he stays four years or so. He might.

Giggs was never that great, no harm in admitting that

Scruttocks we don't have to admit it, because he was.

Honestly think Salah is the Egyptian Walcott. Extremely one dimensional player, technically lacking and goes hiding quite often.
But he’s quick and scores goals which obviously glosses over all that. Think when the goals dry up he will be exposed for the average footballer he is.

We’ve all read it, not once did he single out goal tally’s.
He said goal scoring wingers, Giggs was a goal scoring winger, but it wasn’t his best attribute as a player.

He did pretty well then to get in the PFA team of the year another 2 times after 2003, making it 6 times in total. Only Gerrard has more appearances (8).

WTF?
Well honestly, you ghavent the first clue about fluck all then have you.
Not one of those negative attributes in anyway, describes Salah.
Scores all kinds of different goals, works hard, chases everything, scores hatfuls of goals, performs on the international stage, and has great technique.
You probably couldnt have picked a worse comparison.
