Leeds Utd v Wolves Matchday Thread

After Sundays performance I think we've all got our hopes up for this one Away game on a cold and miserable Wednesday night, what could be nicer

Here we go then, a big game again and a chance to show whether we really are coming out of the recent "bad patch"

Venue...Molyneux...Date 22nd Nov ...Kick Off 19:45hrs

Team News
Leeds United
Leeds have a doubt over striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who missed Sunday's 2-1 win over Garry Monk's Middlesbrough.
It ended a run of four straight losses, but Leeds still start the game 12 points behind Wolves.

Wolves
Wolves may opt to make one change as they bid to maintain their three-match winning run at home to Leeds United.
Influential left-back Barry Douglas is available again after a one-match suspension, Ruben Vinagre having deputised in Saturday's win at Reading.

Match facts
Four of the last six league meetings between these sides have been won by the away team - including both last season.
Wolves have lost their last two home league matches against Leeds - as many as in their previous 17 visits.
Leeds are the only Championship side that have failed to win a single point from a losing position this season.
Wolves have lost their last seven home matches on a Wednesday. The last time they avoided defeat was the 1-0 win over Chelsea in January 2011.
Leo Bonatini is the Championship's top scorer this season, having scored 10 goals from his 19 shots on target

Ok so Wolves are on a good run at the minute while we look to get our season back on track, hopefully we can grind out a result here after all "anybody can beat anybody in this League "
A tough 1-2 scoreline for me with Roofey and Saiz on target ...............Gettttt Innnnn

Eddie Gray has just said we have an exciting team that is great to watch. Lets hold onto that, make 2 or 3 changes and we will be in good shap

Eddie talking bull about being exciting to watch.

Played well twice at home in the league, rest been gash

"Eddie talking bull about being exciting to watch."

Really LIW?!?!?

Compared to Boring Boring Garry Monk?

Very very similar to last season

A lot of poor grinding out games, with a few great exciting performances.

We are not an exciting team to watch

Have to agree with LIW, our play looks like lassoxe huff and puff. We don't go forward with that cutting edge incisiveness.

The gaps between players is huge and there is seldom a triangle movement past the half way line.

It feels like we are watching a team full of Mowatts.

"A lot of poor grinding out games, with a few great exciting performances."

That was the essence of what he was trying to say, I believe, I may have misstated it above. Just saying...

Lose to Barnsley Saturday and surely TC has to go. We are witnessing his death throws.

We will win that.,

Ha ha alrighty. Barnes v Ayling. Can’t wait.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hahahahahahaha!

Barnes in Ayling's pocket and how he stayed on the pitch I'll never know!

The ref had two clear chances to send him off and bottled both of them!

hahahahahahaha!
