Huddersfield Town 1 Manchester City 2

Hi all

Well, you all know me well enough to realise this isn't gonna be a positive, confident thread. Prepare for town to see our minus goal difference double.

Let's get things straight, we haven't learned from last season. Once we concede a goal, we'll ship two or three and it's game over. Think it was Bristol City away last season 3 down in 23 minutes! This will happen again, and we don't score enough, nor do we create enough.

If it's true, and Mounié and drop gob Smith have had words, then fair enough. Mounié looks half the player Depoitre is, and he cost us triple the amount too, can't do with nob - heads.

Location ; John Smiths Stadium, Huddersfield

Kick off : 16:00

Towns form ;

LWLWL let's hope this current form continues

Man City's form ;

WWWWW! Scary!

TEAM NEWS;

Town welcome back centre-back Christopher Schindler, who has completed a one-game ban.

Jonathan Hogg is also in contention - he missed the defeat at Bournemouth to attend the birth of his son.

Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi returns from a domestic suspension and may replace John Stones, who hurt his hamstring last weekend.

City's only other injury absentee is left-back Benjamin Mendy, who continues his recovery from knee surgery.

Manager Pep Guardiola will recall several key players who were rested against Feyenoord, such as David Silva, Leroy Sane and Vincent Kompany.

This match will mention Aaron Mooy a few times, so lv and Darn will just have to grin and bear it, toughshit in other words. I see the Australian manager has stepped down today, citing lv and Darns opinion on Mooy as the main reason.

Like I said, I don't expect anything from this game, if we score it will be a bonus. If Bournemouth can score 4 past us, this lot can treble that! Yes, we were missing Schindler, Hogg etc, and we had a few bad decisions, but come on..... If we want to stay up we shouldn't be getting walloped by Bournemouth.

I keep hearing about the home form and crowd etc, doesn't wash with me, yes, I haven't experienced it yet, but I've seen every game and trust me, this won't do anything against City. They might have an off day and score 3,but expect a battering.

Apologies for my negative outlook,only being honest.

My prediction ; 0-7 defeat.

Well that didn't take long

Lost by 10 wickets.

England dropped the ball at the end of day 3..
All the openers had to do was see the day out, & they weren't up to it.
End of day 4 Bancroft/Warner did just that..
Then carried on this morning. And still we couldn't take a wicket,
Disappointing.

The capacity has been reduced to 24,121 from 24,169 as the disabled complained about restricted views in the away end, so 48 seats have been covered up..

Looks like Everton are getting Allardyce! Great, just what we need before we play them!

How is your back?

It’s still sore but won’t prevent me from travelling to Arsenal on Wednesday. If I’m well enough to go to work then I'm well enough to travel to a football match
