Ashes TV Coverage

Am fuming. I pay all this money for Sky and Sky Sports. They have a dedicated Sky Sports Cricket channel that ISN'T showing the biggest cricket event this year.
It'll be a cold day in hell before I subscribe to BT so I guess I'm left with TMS
BT Sport even have the highlights. Greedy feckers. I know the highlights are free to view but I'm loathed to watch and add to their viewing figures. Please stick to phones and sort out fibre broadband coverage before you go dabbling in Sport.
I deeply resent BT getting line rental (legal extortion) off nearly every household in the country, using the money to buy up exclusive rights to Sports then charging us again for the privilege of watching it.

Sky binned the Verdict last summer for some 20 minute rushed summary end of the days play.

BBC lost to channel 4 before sky. The BBC were never that good at it. You would get barely any of the test when Wimbledon was on and you missed the first part of the afternoon session because some programme over ran. Channel 4 ruined the coverage by constantly switching to horse racing. Sky have done it the best.

The 90 minutes highlights are only on TV. The only highlights on the app are about 10 minutes. There is also the option to watch the full days play. Missing a verdict type show with Bob. Well Charles 4 of the top 8 gave their wickets away. Should be shot at dawn.

That show was great with Bob Willis as judge. I miss that too. BT coverage is crap.

Totally agree., BBC coverage was dreadful. C4 was much better but still ruined by constantly switching to the horse racing.
Sky do it best.

Don't care who does it the best, can't understand why there are no terrestrial highlights for the biggest test series, I'm sure the Aussies don't get treated like this? I'm sure ITV 4 showed channel 9 Aussie coverage last time... That's nowhere either.. Love TMS... but want to watch...

Bbc and c4 coverage was before the online and digital platforms were truly established. BBC's F1 coverage was much better in 2009 than the 90s. Who's to say those channels couldn't do it better if they had the rights for cricket coverage?

Least when Sky had the ashes you could least get highlights but BT sport gives people who don't have it nothing.

The BT sport app that bad this morning, constant buffering. Missed overtons wicket. Ironically better watching on mobdro which you don't have to pay for.

BT is fine...but it only has a fraction of the football matches that Sky has....streaming is utter dogshat

I have both...sky is £89 BT is £10
