Brewers Predictor (19): Sunderland

I am currently somewhere between 0-1 and 1-1 and I will spend the next 48 hours either deciding upon which it is or having a last minute prophetic moment that tells me it will be 3-3.

This might sound harsh, but on the way back to the car after the Sheffield defeat it seemed that every overheard conversation was the same. Time to recognise that Buxton and Warnock, both part of the leaky and ultimately relegated Wigan defence 12 months ago, were taking us down the same road. Neither started on Tuesday night and from what I read, apart from the free kick, free scoring Brentford didn't trouble Stephen Bywater.
So the question is, is there anybody out there who is desperate to see either of them recalled tomorrow? Apart from Nigel, that is.
I'm going for a 2-1 Brewers win but will be checking the team news from the pub!

A massive game at the bottom of the Championship.
Birmingham v Sheffield Utd / Wolves next
Bolton v Wolves.
If results go our way, and we win, it will be a big blow for Sunderland/ Bolton & Birmingham.
We could be on cloud nine tomorrow.

Come on you Brewers, please take your chances tomorrow.

Brewers 3 - 1 Sunderland.

Bucko is a Brewers Legend after his first time at the club. Therefore I am unable to say a bad word about him.

Warnock might turn out to be a Brewers Legend but for all the wrong reasons. He has been absolutely atrocious.

Ironically Wigan had one of the best defences in the league last season conceding only 57 which was bettered by only 6 clubs. Reading and Huddersfield got in the play offs conceding more and Fulham were in the play offs conceding as many.

Whether it is 'a year too far' syndrome remains to be seen. Darren Moore was one of those players.

One important aspect is that we have no-one upfront to hold the ball up which puts more pressure on the defence. Chris O'grady and then Cauley Woodrow were vital last season in that respect.
