Also I don't think you can include Roofe in that, he's played upfront a handful of times and when he has generally we've done well.

Defence is awful as we have zero balance without Taylor.

James Beattie leaving I think had a bigger effect than Monk, seems to be a very good striking coach.

Ayling is without his best mate Bartley, Jansson can't attack every corner defensively as he knows he hasn't got Bartley to clear up behind him.

Every time the ball goes near any of our keepers I close my eyes a dread to think what the defence feel passing backwards.

Anita and Vieira in the middle will certainly help shore up our defence imo.

Leave the scoring to the front 4 to work their magic and let Vieira bomb forward on occasion.

Bartley is a massive miss. He was an organiser, always shouting at people to get in position. Jansson is good but needs that sort next to him to keep him in check. Berardi I don't think was ever that good. Played in a solid defensive unit but all our best displays had Taylor. Ayling same as Jansson, had Bartley alongside him.

Pablo just as good IMO. Don't think he's played badly this season. Roofe hasn't been bad either, Think he can be scapegoated at times.

Just missing key players from last season who in turn made others better.

We need a left back, that’s deffo but We also need a keeper whether he plays the ball out or hoofs it, he’s got to be able to catch a ball aswell as be a good shot stopper, mid field needs to be a lot tighter, it’s not bad at the mo, but they need to close down players be ruthless enough to stop the opposition from running through, be bold enough to attack & to support the attack and defence.....it’s a tough job
