be looking at taking a fair amount of points from their next six matches, City match apart. I know things don`t always work out as planned, but it looks a very favourable set of fixtures for the next month.
Watford (A)
Stoke (H)
Brighton (H)
Man City (A)
Burnley (A)
Southampton (H)
If Spurs play to their potential should win five of those matches. Can anybody see any potential banana skins from those set of fixtures? City obviously will be difficult, but Spurs have a brilliant record over City Premiership era. Burnley are having a half a decent season, Watford as well are doing OK, although Spurs won there last season. The three home matches should be routine wins.
Starting from Saturday, Spurs have to

Watford (A) - Win
Stoke (H) - Win
Brighton (H) - Win
Man City (A) - Draw
Burnley (A) - Win
Southampton (H) - Win
16/18 points not bad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think we can achieve this yet you claimed last night top 4 hopes all but gone?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I still think they are, I am just going on the next six games, even if Spurs get a healthy return from these six games, the damage has been done over the past few weeks. The other teams around us also all have reasonably easy matches, so Spurs will not make up much ground in all probability.
However, I live in hope as always.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
5 wins out of our next 6 can easily land us in the top 4, which we are just a few points away from. Another ridiculous comment from you. Embarrassing the Spurs board.

Look mate, I get Spurs are letting you down, but don't take it out on me. You may have noticed now that Spurs have slipped to 7th behind Burnley now.
The top teams simply do not drop points to the cannon fodder, or not very often. Arsenal are now back in their flat track bully mode, and are forging ahead of Spurs, they won't be dropping points at home to Swansea, Burnley and WBA like Spurs have done, that is why it I'll be so difficult to get top four. I hope I am wrong, but the signs are not good, one win in five, and only three goals scored.

Not looking good you say and yet according to you were going to win 5 of our next 6 including avoiding defeat to city. Interesting.

Sandy ole boy, ....... I've not seen you so negative in a long time. But I think you are more than justified.
Something has clearly gone very wrong with this team..... now the question ( and I've raised this elsewhere) is
WHAT IS IT THAT HAS GONE WRONG??

Ted, I call it as I see it. No point in sugar-coating a bad run, like GB does on the Liverpool board. As I said I expect form to pick up again in the next month or so, but the damage may have already been with the results of the past few matches. Unfortunately some of our fans like to keep their heads firmly in the sand.
Not the position I expected Spurs to be in. However it is the reality of the situation, Spurs sit currently 7th, when just two or three weeks ago they were joint second. A disastrous set of results, coupled with all the sides around Spurs winning all their matches, has left Spurs in a very difficult position for a CL position for next season.

4 points off 4th place with 24 games to go, win 5 of our next 6 games (according to you) and we can easily be back in the top 4.

Bennyville, yes I can see where you are coming from. I have not completely dismissed top four, just saying it looks difficult at the current time. Things may well pick up again, and come the New Year may look a good lot healthier. I to and fro quite a bit, because that is the nature of football. Teams get ups and downs, so you have to change your mind, depending on the situation. Everybody has differing opinions on how the season is panning out, so some will be right, and some will be wrong, that is the nature of the beast.
As I said top four don`t look too good at present with the current form, but hey ho, it may all turn around again before the New Year. Let`s hope so.
