Nev's Monday Moan!

Well again apart from going apoplectic at kasper not much to moan about.
Those who keep going on about two points dropped just want to dis the new manager.
Can't see any calls for Shakey back though are new man is a thinker he wanted us to win the game in the first half and hold onto it in the second.

But all this is early days undefeated in five out of six away games i'm sure TB will let me know if i am wrong looking forward to the Spurs game i am back full of cold and freezing in Sunny Leicestershire.

I listen to the moan in not good to invite a soton fan on to wing about there former manager

Didn’t listen to that, I got home just after the Chairman of Southampton supporters explained Puel’s playing style.

Totally alien to Leicester and could easily see us quickly in a relegation fight.

Silva may be pivotal to Puel's style, lets just wait and see before we write the new manager off, he's been here 5 minutes.

Thats who i was talking about listen to Cliff Genneta talking about Shakey equivalent.
He did say Puel was unlucky not to have any strikers like vardy or Marhez.
I thought it was very negative of my mate to bring him on to talk about second half performances.

Nev

Didnt hear the moan in, but would agree with you. Theres hardly likely to be any balance from a Saints fan, even though they did finish 8th and get to a cup final (which witha competant referee they could easily have won). and thats without any strikers.Pretty sure we would take that for Leicester this season

Your nate should be careful pulling tricks like that, he might have another no speaky manager on his hands.

And agree with YH, lets give CP a chance before writing him off, lets see what we are like with Silva and after the Jan window ( always assuming JR gers everything done 14 seconds before the window closes).

UTF ( lets give the Totties a gane tonight) .

He was reasonable though, almost defensive of Puel because of the injuries, absolutely no malice at all.

Once again Bev has missed my point because of that blinkered view, I was talking about the passing style of Puel as confirmed last night.

Short of attackers or not their scoring was woefully low, take Vardy out of the picture by not pkaying to his strengths and we could well be the same, with s poorer defence as well that’s what could put us in big trouble.

Of course, it could go the other way, our journey men squad could decide to show everyone their twinkle toes passing game and we storm up the CL places again.

Who knows?

It's Kev I blame.

Bev, kev or Nev at some point we are going to have to embrace possession football, whilst retaining our speed on the break. So the ability to pass the ball across the back rather than a big hoof and loose possession as we where doing earlier this season.

I am pleased at how much Appleton is being involved on match days by Puel this can only be good for his career progression.

What to we reckon unchanged for tonight? or Marhez on the bench and Ben in ?
