Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has escaped an FA charge for violent conduct, this is despite violently kicking out at an opponent.

Yet again another case of the FA bottling big decisions against their favourite clubs. This is a shocking lack of consistency and blatant favouritism from the comically inept review panel.

Lukaku also got away with a stamp against Pool earlier in the season.

Shockingly poor, obviously a case of "we can't upset Jose".

Thoughts?

Yep, Lukaku probably should have been banned. He wasn't. It highlights the inconsistencies with the system. But it's always been inconsistent. It's not special treatment for United or Lukaku.

Just last week Niasse of Everton was banned for diving. Correct on one hand because he voluntarily threw himself to the ground after minimal contact. But the sort of incident that happens several (probably more) times each game. Nothing has been done until now. Despite the system being in force since the start of the season.

Deli Alli dived at OT this season. The most blatant dive anyone will see all season. He wasn't punished. Was that bias/favouritism, or yet again just the inconsistencies with the disciplinary systems?

It's not the FA that judge incidents like Lukaku's at the weekend, btw.

Hopefully the lads will be sporting Lukaku t-shirts tonight

Nothing silly about staying facts pal

Yeah but you sa it's a fact that he media and refs love Liverpool, but now it's a fact that Lukkaku got away with a stamp v Liverpool, so which is a fact and which isn't?

You can't shout "facts" day in day out then contradict yourself and say it's a fact

Referees do favour Pool 95% of the time, except when they play United, when it is a 50/50 which team they will favour

Wasn't this done to death yesterday? By another Spurs fan as well, despite the fact we were playing Brighton.

I'm not talking about diving, this is about violent conduct. Diving goes on all the time, Young, Fernandinho, Sterling, Firmino, Ramsey, Fabregas, Alexis etc etc. Some clubs are given pens, and some are not.

Lukaku committed an act of violent conduct, which was plain for all to see and he received no punishment. What exactly were the review panel watching, unbelievable they came to the decision they did.

Sorry I've never seen Ramsey dive. I saw him get pushed in the back and win a pen but that's it.

Sure alukaku knows he should serve a two game ban so will vanish for 180 minutes.

Like I said, it's inconsistent they way they hand out punishments. It happens. It always has done. Not only for fouls.

The Huddersfield player was sent off at the weekend for putting his hands in Sane's face. In another match that won't be punished after being spotted by the ref. In another game it will be reviewed after being missed by the ref and it's pot luck what punishment, if any will be administered.

What you need to do really is try and grow up a little. I don't pay too much attention to what others tend to post when it's not very interesting, but jebus cripes, everything you tend to post is whinging and whining about Spurs being hard done to or opponents being favoured by officials.

Give the whining a rest, you sound like the human equivalent of air being let out of a balloon.

And yet Spurs were awarded the same amount of penalties as us last season and conceded less. This mystery is definitely one for Scooby and the gang.

Anyone else think there's one serial diver missing off that list? Guess which club he plays for
