Danny Rose in Jan

The chickens are seemingly coming home to roost for spurs at the moment, their valiant attempt at a run at the big guns is starting to wain
and as the run out of steam keeping up with the big guns, inevitably the very vocal spurs players who "want to play for spurs for life" will start looking elsewhere for bigger clubs and bigger wages.

Danny Rose, is a player I like and has already stated his desire to leave the club, would be an adequate back up to the currently overburdened Alonso, Alonso is a cracking player for me but he needs a deupty.

Rose needs game time, he looks unfit but wants to challenge for honours.

looking ahead to the summer, I also think we should be looking at Dembele a class act and perfectly suited to our midfield.

thoughts ?

Chelsea dreaming if they think we would sell them a player

I actually agree with this. I think Spurs would prefer to sell Rose to Man Utd than Chelsea - although I don't really understand why they are happy to do business with Man Utd. Having said that, we seem to be happy to sell players to Man Utd too, which is also crazy to me.
I would be happy to have Rose though. We desperately need another left back - and Rose is English which is an added bonus.
And although the original article is a not-too-subtle dig at Spurs, I do believe they could lose one or two of their top players at the end of the season if they don't win anything. I just get the impression they are starting to get frustrated.

I doubt Rose will be going anywhere in January. Levy will not be selling another player to any of the other top sides. Rose will have to stay at Spurs I suspect, whatever his beef is about wages or whatever.

Rose wants to go back up north so I don't see him ending up at Chelsea

Who wants a second-hand Rose !

Every rose has its thorn
Just like every night has its dawn
Just like every cowboy sings his sad, sad song
Every rose has its thorn

I wonder how many heads that will go over!

Rose to Chelsea simply ain't happening. As tight as Levy is he wouldn't sell us even the steam off his pii iss. There's too much rivalry at stake in spite of the claims that we worry about them more more than they worry about us. Even if he did it would make the Hatton Garden job look like small potatoes.

Spurs players gradually starting to leave if they don't start winning trophies is very possible. What isn't is Levy selling to us.

With the Modric affair, he's proven that even if a player openly expresses a desire to join 'Chelsea', he'd rather sell to someone else for less money - the renowned penny pusher would rather take the hit in his wallet than sell to us. And that was back when Spurs weren't even a realistic threat which they are now.

Regarding Rose, genuinely think Alonso's a better WB. Rose is way too attacking to hold an entire flank on his own, for Spurs' purposes Davies is better at that.

No need for Chelsea to sign Rose.I would rather see Ryan Bertrand back as leftback at Chelsea.

No need to sign an unneeded useless player in Danny Rose from Tottenham.
