Lydl TV ad

I was just watching TV when an ad for Lydl came on and the was some kid wearing a Notts Forest shirt featured in the ad, you wouldn't get away with that in Glasgow as one half of the city would boycott the shop - I think its a brave move by Lydl, one of the ad makers (the Notts Forest supporting one) will be sitting there with a big grin on his face

You get plenty of Manchester United or Chelsea shirts in adverts, and they are both unpopular clubs with opposition fans.

I'm pretty sure no one in Glasgow would give a flying fk and even fewer would be playing such close attention to a Lidl ad.

I've always wondered how much business Nivea hooking up with Liverpool must of cost them. I guess they must do their market research but by bringing them in they will of lost any custom they had from the best supported club in the country?

Whenever I donate to charities to help in places like Syria I always set a clause that the money can't be used to help s(um fans.

Most people in Glasgow can't afford to shop at Lidl.

I got lectured on here many moons ago for writing Notts Forest - people take this sort of thing really quite seriously.

...well, this one guy did at least. Probably still does.
