Hi Edin
My understanding is that the costs include not only all the stadium but also the new offices, Sainsbury's, Hotel & other buildings in the immediate vicinity. One additional cost of course that was not initially provisioned for was the pitch rotation system, which is revolutionary and perfected over at Hotspur Way. This is a unique system and we are the first club to have it. It would certainly have added tens of millions to the original costs.
The fluctuation in the £ has also been a factor in costs, especially when the £ was at a low earlier this year. If we bought our steel in the UK, it would be okay, but if it is imported steel, then depending on where it came from it would be priced either in Euros or dollars.
Whilst it might look as though there is loads of work to be done, the major work has actually been completed. All the four stands are now joined together and the next major job is the roof. After the roof is fitted, then the cosmetic appearance will be dealt with and the interior. Working 24/7 (which accounts for a large chunk of the budget) means that there is no quite periods in the build.
It will most likely be ready for its fit for purpose inspection by the end of May 2018, and then it will be given its final Health & Safety certificate and will then be licensed for public access.

Nice bit of info there Genius. I shall be making my monthly inspection sometime next week.

How close do you get Sandy?, they have been allowing some public access to the site, not too sure how that is facilitated.
The stadium itself looks magnificent, it will be one of the best in the World once it is finished. And we will be about 40 yards closer to the pitch than Hammers fans

My understanding is the pitch will slide out from the South stand (NOT North) hence the trees which means less major supporting steel to get in the way.
"Next major job is the roof" ----- The steel structure round the South end is surely the next major job, can't put the roof on until that's done.

The steel ring is going on next, however I was incorporating that in as part of the roof work.

South stand is a fair bit off atm
Have to do the top part of the tier the all the steak work for the window ( that’s what the roof attaches too ) then the need to raise the floor ( atm that’s the basement level we can see )
A good couple months which is the schedule for the compression ring going up.
