Peterborough Utd V Blackburn Rovers

Posh are consistently inconsistent in the sense that they play alternately well and badly.

Having drawn badly to Woking and then beaten Southend well, Posh are due next to play badly at the weekend.

In an effort to change this, I'll be going to this one, as they generally win when I attend.

Blackburn will be a tough nut to crack, but we've beaten Wigan and Shrewsbury at the ABAX, so there's a chance that we'll be closer to them in points after Saturday.

We'll need Maddison to be in good passing form and Marriott to be at the end of his defence-splitting crosses. We'll also need the excellent Gwion Edwards to be in top form. More importantly, though, we'll need the defence to stay focussed and not make their usual silly mistakes.

Good luck lads - UTP!

Blackburn won the game during their three-goal blitz in the first 12 minutes of the second-half, when they showed their true Championship credentials.

My attendance wouldn't have helped. I failed to note that Tony Mowbray is the Blackburn manager (we always lose to Tony Mowbray teams), and that the deadly Bradley Dack plays for them (he scored two goals, and always scored against Posh when he played for Gillingham).
