Yet again the board have been embarrassing the club with the latest debacle with McInnes.
So far they have managed to completely botch the 'resigning' of Warburton, then they hired the very left of field Pedro, whose sacking was another mess, and now we have this.
It's not so much the fact that McInnes turned the position down, it's the amount of time that has been involved, but more importantly the so called shortlist of candidates.
If there was a shortlist of candidates then you would assume that other people were possibilities for the job, but now it looks very obvious that the Rangers board put all their eggs in one basket. Otherwise you'd think that the other guys in the running would have to be interviewed.
But no. Murty will now be the manager until at least the new year. What in the name o' f@ck is going on with these people?
Then there is yet another embarrassment with the statement. One riddy of a petulant rant in a long, long line of them. Each balls up that the board have made has been completely rubber stamped by the P.R. department of Rangers.
Surely after a while, after so many things turn to schit, they have to start thinking "surely the problem isn't us, is it?". Their 'internal editor', and I don't mean James f@cking Traynor, seems to have buggered off.
Also throw in the word 'transparency' and you have the complete set of bullshittery from a board who got a very easy ride at the AGM.
Looks like this brand of ineptitude will never stop until these guys are gone.

In terms of the future you might be right Zachs, the Res. 11 will show what we do or don't have in terms of investors/money. But, to say we're no better than we were under Green is total bollox.

Debating over what kind it is would be fairly futile for me, but not realising that this board are much the same-full of liars and empty promises-isn’t going to help your current predicament.

Not even slightly. Green completely raided the club along with Ahmad and left a total mess. Green needs his balls hacked off with a rusty butter knife.

not sticking up for rangers here but timing is everything
football is financially accelerating at a rate that is just mental. that means that normal funding strategies are blown up and more and more capital is needed to turn a ship around. this happens 10 years ago and its a lot better but now? cant see a way through it.

Agreed. The board have made things better than they found it in my opinion but have really made a kante of dismissing and appointing managers.

Fair enough.
I’m only calling it as I see it from an outsider’s point of view. King seems to be protected from a fair bit of criticism that I think he’s been due for his actions over the last wee while, and it’ll probably only be after he’s left that his tenure will be assessed without passion.
Unless there’s something dramatic happens in the next wee while, I don’t think his time will ultimately be remembered fondly.
